Stage 4: Prepare & Setup
Overview and Objectives of this stage:
Many workshop leaders run into trouble when they’ve focused primarily on
the content of the seminar but then fail to adequately prepare and setup
for the workshop itself.
At this stage, you should have your workshop designed, developed and
marketed and are now ready to prepare and setup for your workshop. For
information on previous stages, check out Set Direction, Design & Develop
and Market & Price.
The objective of the Prepare & Setup stage is to mentally prepare
yourself for delivering your workshop, physically create workshop
handouts and materials and ensure you have all materials and logistics
necessary to setup the room.
