Stage 2: Design & Develop
Overview and Objectives of this stage:
Once you have set the direction for your workshop and you have clear
learning objectives, you are ready to design and develop. At this stage,
you should have already identified the purpose of your workshop, target
audience, learning objectives, key messages and key takeaways. Check out
the Set Direction stage to learn more.
The objective of the Design stage is to create a high level outline of
content and exercises to meet each learning objective and identify
potential formats for delivering your workshop. The Design is the
“roadmap” that sets the foundation for a successful development.
The most memorable workshops are those where your attendees experience
and interact. The objective of the Develop stage is to create engaging
content, interactive exercises and supporting material for your workshop.
Become a master at developing experiential learning and create a lasting
impact with your attendees.
